Technical Assistance and Advising

On Line Tutorials

The Small Business Administration offers on line tutorials that explain the SBIR/STTR program in detail.

Below you will find links to these tutorials and other resources.

Tips and Tricks

1.  Federal agencies offer technical assistance as well. Ask about TABA funds (Technical Assistance and Business Assistance) when applying

2. Learn as much about your target agency as possible

3. Check out Fast Track Challenges for the advanced innovator

4. Phase II awardees will need to comply with federal bookkeeping guidelines

5. Your product will need to be able to be commercialized. Ask your technical adviser what thismeans.
